With 3rd Party Gateway

The 3rd Party Gateway installation process is designed to link and activate assets, Vista devices, and third-party gateways (such as AT&T and Minus40 Hubs) in Wi-Fi mode. This workflow ensures all devices are properly configured and ready for deployment, supporting both single and multi-door cooler models.

1. Select Cooler Model

Choose the cooler model from the dropdown.

  • Based on the selected asset type, the UI will display door tabs:
    • For a single door model, only one tab is shown.
    • For multiple door models, multiple tabs will appear, allowing configuration for each door.

2. Asset Serial #

Enter or scan the serial number of the asset using the camera icon for quick entry.

3. ICCID / IMEI

Select or enter the ICCID or IMEI value as required for the gateway.

4. Gateway Serial #

Enter or scan the serial number of the third-party gateway.

5. WiFi SSID & Password

Enter or scan the WiFi SSID and password to configure the gateway's network connection.

2. Door Tabs

Each door tab allows the user to configure settings specific to that door. The number and configuration of door tabs are dynamically generated based on the selected cooler model, with values auto-populated accordingly.

3. Vista Serial

Each door tab includes a field for the Vista Serial #. This is where the user enters or scans the serial number of the Vista device associated with that door.

4. Command

When click on the next button, the app will execute the following commands:

WiFi and Device Status
  1. WiFi Connection:
    Retrieve the hub's WiFi SSID and password, then configure the device to connect using these credentials.
  2. Change WiFi Frequency:
    Ensures the WiFi frequency is set correctly.
  3. Turn Standby Mode On:
    Enables standby mode for the device.
  4. Switch to WiFi Mode:
    Confirms the device is operating in WiFi mode.

Each step provides a checkmark (✔️) if successful, or an error (❌) if not.

5. Install

To start the installation process, the user taps the Install button. This action initiates the installation workflow.

6. Next

To proceed to the next step, the user taps the Next button. This action is used to clean the existing data and prepare for the next installation.


This process ensures that each asset and gateway is properly configured and linked, supporting flexible installation for both single and multi-door coolers with third-party gateways. The step-by-step workflow reduces errors and ensures all required information is captured for successful deployment.
